Changes to the Fusion 360 Personal Licenses

As a Fusion 360 Hobbyist I will find these changes to the personal license very restrictive but it is not the end of the world which I will come to explain. Firstly here is the table illustrating the previous license features and functionality compared to the new licensing.

The two biggest ones for me is being restricted to 10 active and editable documents & drawings only allowing a single sheet!

Fusion 360 is still FREE for Design & 3D Modelling

Even though these changes are drastic it is important to note that the personal use offering is still FREE for solely doing home-based, non-commercial design, manufacturing, and fabrication projects. I believe that there is no other FREE CAD modelling packages out there that can compete with Fusion 360's design and 3d modelling tools.

Packages like Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks have crossed my mind but due to the price tag it is not really suitable for early stages of concept development and tinkering at a hobbyist level.

If I had an idea that was designed to a level that is ready to be manufactured then yes I could look at a commercial license of either so that I can create detailed manufacturing drawings OR I could consider a commercial license of Fusion 360 @ £438 per year which is a steal compared to the other two packages!
